BRCA Round 5 - meeting *cancelled* - July 26

We have been informed by the local organisers that the track conditions at Shrewsbury mean there is no likelihood of racing this week-end (July 29).

Therefore, it is with regret that BRCA Round 5 is cancelled.

This has been an incredibly difficult year for organisational matters but we hope that most drivers will appreciate the notice given for this decision, and that we are experiencing some of the worst weather conditions in the UK for hundreds of years - something we cannot control.

The 2007 BRCA Rallycross season will now consist of 7 meetings, with the best 5 meetings to count.

With so much of the season left to complete, even without any further problems, it was felt this was the only sensible decision to enable the completion of a meangingful season.

The BRCA Committee are already thinking about the structure of the 2008 season which could include contingency weekends set, in advance of the season, so that dates are known up front in the event of any cancellations etc. We hope this shows we are always looking forward.

In the meantime, we look forward to seeing everyone at Pendle on August 5th.

Best regards,

BRCA 1/8th Rallycross Committee
