BRCA Calendar 2010 - notice - Dec 21
Dear competitors,
The 2010 BRCA Rallycross Calendar is now available on this website.
Please note that Registration forms and Entry forms will be available on this website in early Jan – likely to be no earlier than w/c 18/01/2010.
Please check this website at that time for further info.
Many thanks to all clubs/venues that applied for 2010 – there were a record number this year, and so unfortunately there were more disappointed applications than ever before – all of which have already been contacted by phone or email.
As stated at the AGM, the aim of the Calendar is to ensure good organisation of events, a mixture of surfaces to race on (if anything bias towards dirt, as per year end questionnaire) and, taking those two things into account, also trying to have a broad split across country, where possible.
Meeting all objectives is never easy (or entirely possible) and clashes with other series/sections are almost inevitable given the placement of Easter next year, as well as the Euros A warm up within the EFRA calendar – both of which have meant a later start than would ideally have been desired.
Hopefully the publishing of the Rallycross Calendar at this time allows clubs and/or other events to be suitable planned.
We look forward to working with the clubs/venues that have been selected in having a great 2010 – please come back to this website for entry details w/c 18/01/2010.
Many thanks,
BRCA Rallycross Committee.

Technical specificaions (weight/wheels) - Dec 30 2008
*UPDATED DEC 30 2008*
Following clarification sought, for the 2009 BRCA Rallycross season the following amendment to technical specification rules has been made to fall in line with EFRA:-
[d] Minimum overall weight: 2WD - 2.5 kilos, 4WD - 3.2 kilos.
In addition, the following EFRA rule was passed on wheel dimensions:-
Wheel overall diameter must be between 109 and 120 mm. Wheel overall width 47 mm. maximum.
There is no specific rule within the BRCA Rallycross rules on this point, however as a default we would always revert to EFRA on technical specifications as a first port of call.
Having discussed this matter with EFRA we understand this will not apply until 1st January 2010, so this wheel limitation would NOT apply for the 2009 season.
Best regards,
BRCA Rallycross Committee.
